Parry Sound Sights, Attractions & Cool Stuff to Do
Bobby Orr Hall of Fame – A fun place for kids and families, to check out some hockey history and the town’s local hockey hero, #4 Bobby Orr. Memorabilia, interactive games, novelty items available. Located at the Stockey Center at the waterfront.
Charles W. Stockey Centre — The town’s official arts and cultural center, hosting the Festival of the Sound, concerts, live theater, local school plays, concerts.
CPR Train Trestle — Spanning the Seguin River, at 105′ high and about 1700′ in length the old train bridge….. a local icon.
Depot Harbour — A ghost town, 8 km from town, on Parry Island, located on an Ojibway First Nation Reserve. Depot Harbour has a very interesting history.
Georgian Bay – The center of attention in town and the big reason Parry Sound ranks at the top of ‘best places to fish, camp and boat’ lists. Boating is premium on the Bay, swimming at the designated beaches or other access points, water sports or just take in the awesome scenery.
Tower Hill Observation Tower — Spectacular views of the harbour and Georgian Bay from the tower at Tower Hill Park. Great spot for photos.
Parry Sound Waterfront – In front of the town’s ‘brag book’, is the fantastic waterfront scene. You’ll find restaurants, shops, the CPR trestle bridge, Seguin River Falls, the Stockey Center, Bobby Orr H.O.F. There’s direct access to the Fitness Trail for a stroll along the Georgian Bay, or take a boat tour or a sea plane ride. There are benches and seating to take it easy and watch the sights. Best of the local attractions.
Wasauksing Swing Bridge — This bridge stretches across the South Channel, between Parry Island and Rose Point. The bridge moves to allow passage of boats through the channel.
West Parry Sound District Museum — Located on Tower Hill, the local museum features historical artifacts, art and exhibits, which tell the story of Parry Sound’s history.

Boating – A popular summer sport, with multiple destinations: picnic spots, Killbear Provincial Park, Henry’s Fish Restaurant, Craganmor’s, Hole in the Wall. Take in the views and enjoy.
Biking – Seguin Trail is great for bike touring.
